In a powerful show of support for breast cancer awareness and early detection, Ultimate Car Rentals Ghana collaborated with Spice 91.9 FM and Bethel Methodist Medical Centre to host their annual breast cancer screening event, which took place on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the Assakae Market. This year’s event saw an impressive turnout, with over 200 individuals—men and women alike—participating in free screenings, a testament to the growing awareness and commitment to breast health within the community.
Held in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the event aimed to make breast health resources more accessible to underserved areas. Ultimate Car Rentals Ghana, which has been a dedicated partner in this initiative for the past three years, has continuously provided both logistical and organizational support. The event offered screenings as well as educational resources to encourage self-examinations and emphasize the importance of regular check-ups.
This year’s screening marked an inclusive milestone, with two men joining in to participate—a promising sign that breast cancer awareness is reaching a broader demographic.
